Communication is the key

Communication is the key! No doubt it. Please note it is communication and not English that we are emphasizing here. People normally confuse communication with English language skills. 

  Actually, English is synonymous to communication, Here communication does not mean only verbal, it means written too. For one to be more employable, he/she needs to be at least at an intermediate level, if not an expert in communication. There are various online assessments that once can take to evaluate their communication skills.

  Based on research that has been conducted across industries, it has been observed that the lack of communication skills and it's one of the major reason for rejection in most interviews.

 

I want to suggest the following key points as per my experience.

1.Communication / Expression is the key to the English language.

2.You can learn English in spite of having only a few resources, you need to be resourceful.

3.You need the right mentor/friend/guru to teach you how to approach this language.

4.The only thing that is rocket science is rocket science.

5.Your communication during any interview should start with your TMAY (tell me something about yourself)

6.The sequence of your TMAY is very important.

7.TMAY for a fresher will be different from the TMAY of a person with experience.

8.Your brief introduction must be prepared and planned well.
